Description of the Purchase/Payment Process:
a. Service Details:
Tamarindo Xperience is a local tour operator that offers authentic experiences in the Tamarindo, Costa Rica area. Our services include guided ATV tours, sea turtle watching, boat tours along the estuary, sport fishing, zip lining, and more. Our team directly coordinates and operates all tours.
b. Quote and Payment Process:
Our Reservations and Customer Service team provide direct support through our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp) or email. Each customer will receive a quote according to the tour, number of people, date, and specific conditions.
Once the final price is confirmed, a secure payment link will be generated through the selected platform. This link will be sent to the customer directly through the agreed upon communication channel.
c. Cancellations and Returns:
Please contact us in advance to reschedule or cancel your reservation without penalty.
Services cancelled from fewer than 48 hours before the start of the tour: 100% penalty.
Services cancelled 48 hours or more before the start of the tour: No penalty.
Fishing tours cancelled from fewer than 5 days before the start of the tour: 100% penalty.
Fishing tours cancelled 5 days or more before the start of the tour: No penalty.
General Conditions:
Tamarindo Xperience does not ask for security deposits.
Payments can be total or partial and are previously agreed upon with the client according to the type of tour and established conditions.
Clients have the right to modify the date of their reservation, as long as there is availability in the operating calendar.
Important Considerations:
Commercial Management must approve all refunds and processed only through the official contact channels provided in this document.
In approved cases, the refund will be processed within 15 calendar days of approval.
Refunds will be processed exclusively by the same method of payment used for the original payment.
Refund requests due to weather conditions are not accepted unless Tamarindo Xperience officially cancels an activity for safety concerns.
Refunds for cancellations due to illness will be evaluated on a case by case basis as long as approved medical documentation is provided.

Your credit/debit card information is not stored on our servers. This information is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and with an AES-256 encryption and transmitted to the Banco Nacional processor.
Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional industry-accepted standards.
